A poem about what it takes to write anything
A person sitting on the road. Writing.

I’m a mess — a beautiful mess
A mess of thoughts
Unfinished thoughts
A beautiful mess of unfinished thoughts, waiting
Longing to be expressed
In writing

Sometimes, it’s not easy
Most of the times, it’s difficult
To convey, to express, to put pen to paper

But when I’m able to
And I’m always able to, eventually
I don’t pen them subtly
I can’t afford to

Because when you unclutter the cluttered
And set free the caged
You don’t do subtle
You can’t afford to

How I do it, I have no idea
That I can do it, I’m ever grateful
